SHAH ALAM, Aug 12 — The Kota Anggerik state constituency has allocated RM15,000 to purchase laptops for underprivileged students from the B40 category to use this year.

Its state assemblyman Najwan Halimi said a total of 10 laptops have since been handed over to the students at his community service centre yesterday.

“We hope this contribution will ease the burden of parents from the B40 group, as well as encourage the students to study harder.

InsyaAllah, this initiative will be continued to ensure that no student in the Kota Anggerik state constituency drops out of their studies,” he said when contacted.

Najwan also advised the students to make the best use of the laptops donated to them.

“Please do not use the laptops for frivolous matters, but instead use them positively. It is my hope and prayer these children will succeed brilliantly one day,” he said.
