Sultan Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri extend Chinese New Year greetings

SHAH ALAM, Jan 21 — The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, and Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin have extended Chinese New Year greetings to the Chinese community in Selangor.

In a post on the Selangor Royal Office Facebook, their Royal Highnesses hope the celebration remains a significant element in strengthening unity and maintaining harmony among multiracial communities in Malaysia.

“Hopefully, the Chinese New Year festival will be celebrated in an atmosphere of goodwill, tolerance and respect towards each other.

“May the new year bring prosperity, happiness and joy to us all. Gong Xi Fa Cai,” the post read.
