SHAH ALAM, April 23 — The Hulu Langat township recorded a total of 42 active Covid-19 cases as of noon yesterday, with less than two cases to be dropped out of as a red zone.
According to the infographic shared by the Selangor Task Force for Covid-19 (STFC) on Twitter yesterday, the township has 10 less active Covid-19 cases compared to the 52 cases on Tuesday.
“There is still one township that is classified as a red zone (in Selangor) and four orange zones. Kajang township is improving as well and is now a yellow zone,” the task force said yesterday.
Meanwhile, four Selangor townships are grouped as yellow zones including Damansara and Sungai Buloh both recording 33 cases respectively, followed by Petaling with 32 cases and Klang with 30 cases.
The Health Ministry had set the red zone category for areas with at least 41 accumulated confirmed Covid-19 cases; orange zone (20-40 cases); yellow zone (1-19 cases); and green zone (no case).
