MB meets Sultan, presents current developments in Selangor

SHAH ALAM, Oct 28 — Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, granted an audience to Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari to present updates on current developments of the state at the Istana Bukit Kayangan here yesterday.

Amirudin said the Selangor Ruler was briefed on the state’s economy, efforts to address the Covid-19 pandemic as well as the Belanjawan Selangor 2021 (2021 Selangor Budget), which will be tabled on Friday.

“We are grateful for His Royal Highness’ concern over the current situation involving the economy and the Covid-19 pandemic that is currently faced by the Selangor people.

“His Royal Highness’ affection is an inspiration for this administration to always strive for the people and the state,” said Amirudin via a Facebook post yesterday.

Amirudin had earlier said the economic, agriculture, tourism, public health, micro-entrepreneurs, digitisation, and other sectors will continue to be strengthened in the state budget.

The tabling of the 2021 Selangor Budget will be broadcasted live from the Selangor State Legislative Assembly and can be viewed on the TV Selangor channel at http://selangortv.my.
