Air Selangor: 56 remaining affected areas to receive stable water supply

SHAH ALAM, Dec 9 — A total of 805 areas or 93.5 per cent out of the 861 areas affected by unstable water distribution has been stabilised as of 6pm today.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) in a statement said efforts to stabilise the water distribution in the remaining 56 affected areas is ongoing.

It said the water supply had fully stabilised in three districts, namely Petaling, Hulu Selangor and Kuala Selangor, as well as Kuala Lumpur.

“The restoration rate in Klang Shah Alam is currently recorded at 91.6 per cent, followed by Kuala Langat (90 per cent) and Gombak (85.6 per cent),” the statement read.
