SHAH ALAM, Sept 11 — The mobile vaccination initiative under the Selangor Vaccination Programme (Selvax), which aims to ensure that no citizen of the state is left out of immunisation, will start tomorrow until September 18.

State executive councillor for public health Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud said the week-long programme starts at 9am to 5pm daily and will cover 11 state constituencies.

The constituencies involved are Meru, Batu Tiga, Tanjung Sepat, Hulu Bernam, Gombak Setia, Bukit Antarabangsa, Batang Kali, Banting, Teratai, Dengkil and Kampung Tunku.

“For those who have not yet receive vaccination, you are invited to walk-in to the location nearest to you, to get the Covid-19 vaccine for free,” she posted on Facebook today.

Yesterday, Dr Siti Mariah said the programme targets to vaccinate 1,000 individuals a day.

On August 24, she said mobile clinics would go to locations where many people are still unvaccinated based on feedback from the community leaders and elected representatives.
