Anthony Loke to meet TBS management on preparedness to manage passengers

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 15 — Transport Minister Anthony Loke will be holding a meeting with the management of Southern Integrated Terminal (TBS) to discuss its preparedness to manage the large number of passengers on weekends and festive seasons.

In a Facebook entry tonight, he also said he will meet the management of Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) soon to discuss ways to improve and increase the frequency of Komuter service.

“I understand KTMB is facing various constraints due to KDT1 (Klang Valley Double Tracking Phase 1) project which is still not completed and KVDT2 is disrupted,” Loke said.

This evening, the minister inspected KTM Komuter service and the situation at TBS by taking the train from KL Sentral to Bandar Tasik Selatan station with two of his assistants.

The visit was held following numerous feedback on social media relating to Komuter service and the problem of printing bus pass at TBS.
