MYFundAction contributes aid worth over RM600,000 to MAEPS PKRC

SERDANG, March 2 — MyFundAction, a non-governmental organisation (NGO), has presented a contribution worth RM660,210 to the Covid-19 Quarantine and Low-Risk Treatment Centre (PKRC) at the Malaysian Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) to help ease the burden of patients and frontliners there.

The aid comprised personal protective equipment, adult and children diapers, personal hygiene kits, tablets, laptops and dried foods for 5,000 patients and 1,600 frontliners at the PKRC.

The contribution was presented by MyFundAction chief executive officer Muhammad Afiq Mohmad Nazri to PKRC director Dr Shahbuddin Ibrahim.

“The fund collection was received from government bodies and NGOs, members of the public, corporate entities and lecturers,” Muhammad Afiq told reporters at the event.

He hoped that the aid would become the starting point for future collaborations between the two parties.
