Sultan of Selangor meets with new Selangor police chief

SHAH ALAM, Feb 28 — Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj receives visit from the new Selangor Police chief Dato’ Hussein Omar Khan at Istana Bukit Kayangan, here yesterday.

According to the Royal Selangor Facebook page, Hussein has been serving as a policeman for almost 27 years before being appointed as Selangor police chief on February 24 last year.

“Also present was the Selangor Police deputy chief Dato S Sasikala Devi,” the statement said.

Hussein, 52, graduated with a Master’s Degree in Forensic Investigation Science at University of Leicester, United Kingdom and was a former deputy director (intelligence/operations) at the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (JSJ).
